Read Synopsis
Set during the Great Depression, The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek tells the story of two lonely, defiant kids who imagine their escape from the hopeless gloom of their crumbling country town. The play examines the troubling, dark secrets sometimes buried in the hearts of American youth and asks if one generation’s failure to make a decent world is a reason for the hardships that confront our young people.
