CIR SPOTLIGHT: DOMINICAN ARTISTS COLLECTIVE

We were so happy to include our good friends at the DAC as one of our newest Companies-in-Residence. Check out this conversation with member Merlixse Ventura on how DAC functions as a collective and their ongoing relationship with NYTW.

This collective, which began a few years ago, features a group of storytellers, community-centered gate openers and culture expanders, according to press notes. In their work, participants honor their Blackness, their ancestors and their stories.
