The revolution is here, and you can be a part of it! Join us for WE LIVE IN CAIRO now at NYTW, and take a look at our study guide created by our Education department. As part of the Learning Workshop program, our teaching artists have started visiting our partner schools, using the study guide to help today’s students find parallels between themselves and the young activists they will see onstage during the student matinee.
Though our study guides are written with high schoolers in mind, we are all lifelong learners. Whether you are an everyday theatergoer, educator, or student, we invite you to take a look at the study guide to learn more about the show and its themes. The study guide includes a crash course in the historical context surrounding the 2011 Egyptian Revolution, reflections on the intersections of art and activism, and additional resources related to the show. We can’t wait for you to see the show and learn more!
